Sixth
[Set after John's Announcement but before the spirits fade from people in general. For you see, Garrosh has been possessed by Twila following some other stuff in the event. And while he might have wanted to recruit people before now, John's announcement and the conversations confirms one simple fact to the orc-
His enemies fear this power.
The Malnosso have killed people for having the power before, they want it taken away now, and one of them even freely admitted that it is beyond his power to remove Twila's influence from him. And as such, Garrosh stops resisting entirely - he embraces this darkness which'll allow him to defeat the Malnosso, and embraces the power to finally make his army. Now, he needs only recruit people. He needs only show people the darkness.
And he'll do that, in full regalia and Gorehowl at his back.]
[ OOC note: Okay this is a bit of a self-indulgent skin of my teeth plot on my part, but this post will be for Garrosh to try to make people embrace Twila, through force if necessary. This might provoke some fairly significant violence, but I promise I'll talk it out with anyone who goes for it. If you have any creative ideas beyond this base idea, go for it! If you have some idea to get Garrosh to come to his senses, PM or private plurk me or something! It's sort of an open post in that respect. Otherwise, this is mostly just a post for an eight foot tall orc to just go nuts and try to collect soldiers to defeat the enemy. ]

He watches from the safety of a roof top, and claps (a proper--if quiet--clap, not a sarcastic slow clap) as he goes by.]

And where do you march, Garrosh?
[There is no mockery in his tone for once.]

[Loki smiles lazily.] And they also feel change. It's rather pathetic, isn't it.

...But no really, Garrosh meant to go about the town really. And But he followed the river to head to the forest, given other people have been in the woods lately. He goes silent, quiet, - or as quiet as you can be in his heavy armor. But it is a surprisingly quiet stalk]
[Action]
[But as she sits by the river, she pauses for a moment, waiting in silence. She listens for any sounds that she might hear nearby. Hmm...it must be a forest animal or something...]
[Action]
And-! He goes to strike. An ambush, one to give her an understanding of Twila's power, and what it's granted to him. Incoming giant axe with screaming sounds towards her back. Ideally, he'll sever a wing. Un-ideally, she'll be flat-footed.]
[Action]
You again?
[What is his motive this time? He can't still be angry about the bar incident, can he?]
[Action]
[Action]
[She looks up at him, thoroughly curious, but also still feeling thoroughly threatened. She holds her sword at her side, ready to strike, but waiting for further elaboration on this "army."]

[Action]
[Her eyes seem to light up a bit.]
...Does this mean that we'll be able to go home?
[If so, then Garrosh might actually have a willing soldier.]

Targets like towering walls of meat that an orc happens to be,as Garrosh struts through Luceti looking for new members of the Horde. The black wings are merely.. icing on the cake. Now, ordinarily, Knives wouldn't trouble non-humans. He reserved his spite and most of his violence for humanity, but this strangely garbed brown-skinned creature happened to have dark wings, and that... well, that made him a target. One Knives couldn't resist. He folds his wings and drops out of the sky like a stooping hawk, tracking his chosen target with calm patience.
Garrosh's first warning that he even is under attack may well be Knives' sudden impact and thunder of feather against air, as he backwings violently and attempts to slam feet-first directly into the back of the towering orc. There's little other sound to warn of it beyond the passage of wind, but rarely does the plant deliberately hunt trained warriors, their senses may be sharper than he's used to.
The goal is simple and straightforward. Not to do sudden and lethal harm, but to seize one of those nightblack feathers - just one - and tear it out. Nothing is said. Why would he say anything?]

That said, a pluck is quick, it'll probably happen before all that.]

It probably won't feel too good, much worse than getting a hair pulled out, but Knives is only after one, which mitigates things a little. As Garrosh turns with a surly growl to deal with his sudden attacker, the plant shoves back and away to let momentum carry him out of easy reach of that axe.
There's no doubt in his mind; for all that Knives is faster and stronger than a human could hope to be, this ... brown creature was probably MUCH stronger physically. Getting hit by that axe would be a very, very bad idea. This doesn't prevent him from brandishing the stolen feather with a sharp, unpleasant grin. As if to thank Garrosh for his 'donation'.]

A growl starts, and only gets stronger as Garrosh makes another swing of the axe. Not mean to hit Knives directly though - no. He's starting this one off with a Shockwave. His axe collides with the ground with enough force to somehow make a projectile force wave at Knives.
air pressure? magic? who knows?- That'll be his actual opener.Words, who needs words]

Having pulled out one of his own, he well knows the strange feeling that results. Sickness wasn't common for his kind.
It becomes readily apparent that the white-winged plant is alarmingly swift, the shockwave of compressed air and shower of rocks and pebbles immediately sends Knives surging skyward, only the hail of tiny rocks actually reaching him. He doesn't counterattack. Getting into melee range with Garrosh would be amazingly foolish. At night, where his new powers were weakest and the orc's strongest, would be even stupider.
This in no way makes him leave, though it's readily apparent he could.. and probably should. No, even if he doesn't dare actually attack back now that Garrosh knows he's there and is annoyed about it, he can't bring himself to go.
These blackwings were threats. Dangerous. If he was careful, if he was clever, getting rid of this one should be pursued. So: find a way to shift the advantage.]
Is that the best you can do?
[Words aren't needed, and Knives doesn't much wish to, but the quiet, scornful taunt floats down anyway. Even at night, and in the air, it's very, very easy to tell where the plant is, thanks to Hyt; the faint haze of light that surrounds him is almost a beacon, a taunt in of itself.]

Holding that and gripping Gorehowl all the tighter, Garrosh Hellscream flaps his black wings to take flight and increase his mobility towards the lightly glowing other. Having been with Kipinn before this, he's gotten used to flying]
no subject
It's almost a compulsion, to stay and give Garrosh a hard time. Was it Hyt's enmity warring with simple reason?]
Is there a reason I shouldn't? Who are you, to not be doubted? All I see is another brainwashed black-wing dancing to the tune of the thing infesting them.
[It still sounds like mockery, even as Garrosh goes airborne. Calculations begin, on how close he can get before he's too close, and Knives has to move. Flying was an amazing gift, and that the orc actually knew how to use it to a decent level is an almost pleasant surprise! ... Almost. Very, very carefully the plant weighs, measures and calculates exactly how far apart they are as he twists his own flight to attempt to circle Garrosh in a light, rapid sweep.
It's still a taunt, but inaudible, jaunty, all gesture and flair instead of scornful words. Maybe he can provoke rage. When things stop thinking they become much easier to deal with.
.. for most species. Orcs, well. He's never run into those. It could be a costly mistake.]

natural? unnatural? canon differs?soundAnd the strike misses. When it misses, the orc all but sees red, particularly when he's being questioned about a power he's in control of, and a power which'll defeat their enemies here. But he has no reason to recruit this insolent creature. Rather, he only has cause to kill him. Something backed up when he makes a quick turn to once more face Knives. Or as quick as he can in mid-air, anyway. Flight is awkward, even if he's gotten better with it]

Humans may not be overly strong, but once their numbers rise it was usually not a good situation. Sona wasn't exactly pleased that Xzana wished to help someone controlled by Twilia, but the two had come to an understanding. Garrosh was a friend here and she wasn't going to sit and watch one of the few she could call that get hurt.
She doesn't overly like to leave the lake if she didn't have to, but today she was out looking for Garrosh. He shouldn't be too hard to find.]

Well, he is aware of the foolishness of his actions, in some corner of his brain. But it is something he wants so desperately. Freedom. Glory.]
no subject
Garrosh. What are your intentions? Why act out so now? [She's blunt. Straight and to the point. She doesn't believe her friend has lost his mind, curious first to hear what is going through his mind.]
no subject
Because it's been too long, Xzana. These cowards won't even take the leap needed to defeat our enemies.
