Fourth

[Action]

[So Garrosh sort of quietly moved into town after he got back from his mission that he went on after the Valentines event. Despite this, he has been refusing to eat the food provided at the grocery. So in two everyday events you might into him either in the area of House 57, removing some of the provided furnishings, retrofitting the house, trying to look like he's not living in it, or you might run into him in the forest checking his snares, getting some berries which still grow in the winter, and generally trying to survive off the land. It's made him way more hungry than he would be but he's still managing it.

Run into him in either of those locations. Or around them.

But you can also run into him actually in town. He considers going to the bar, but he's not sure that's fixed yet, and it's pissing him off. So instead he veers off to the item shop or the smithy to collect some metal plates, wood, or bone - whatever he can find - to bring back to his new house and construct a Horde symbol. This is so infuriatingly domestic, running into him in the course of this will probably provoke much, well, anger. Possibly violence too. So run into him in either of those capacities as well]

[She can hunt another one. There's never just a single deer in a forest.

Gretel tries to be rational, tries to weigh everything so this doesn't end up a fight.

But she's not prone to purely rational behavior. Sure, she's the more careful one between her and Hansel, but... Hansel's not here to make her act as a balance.

So she readies her crossbow and steps out into the open, keeping the bolt aimed for the very, very large thing.]

That's my kill, troll.

[Closest point of reference she has for what he might be.

Her tone's a warning, yes, but she isn't giving in to indiscriminate violence yet. She's met a white witch... and a helpful troll. So she's willing to wait before firing. At least a little bit.]

[It speaks. Well. Sure, she's met a troll who can talk. But in slow words and short thoughts. So, that? Little surprising.

But more important is the weapon, and she trains her crossbow up. Right between the eyes. She won't fire yet, but her eyes are focused, ready to unleash the bolt.]

Pretty close to one, yeah.

Worked with one before I came here, actually.

Look pretty similar to me.

[...Granted, she hasn't really considered that, like the claim that other worlds have other kinds of magic, other worlds might have trolls that look different.]

You're a better conversationalist than him, though.

[She actually almost smiles there.]

[The crossbow does lower. ...To aim at his throat rather than between his eyes.]

Better? I can take it lower, if you want.

[Chest. Groin.

With this crossbow, she only has one bolt before she has to reload. So the first shot? Has to count.]

Or. You can back off my kill. And I can put it away totally.

[And Gretel, for her part, isn't totally relaxing or stepping toward her kill. But at the word "orc," she gets it. A little.

And, well. A lack of hostility sort of worked with Edward, so maybe she can try it here. Wouldn't hurt to have something big on her side.]

We don't have orcs where I'm from. Or, at least, I've never run into one.

[She lowers her crossbow a little more, relaxes her posture a little.]

Yep. Most of 'em work with witches. Which means I kill quite a lot of them.

[She sounds way too pleased with herself when she says it.]

Met one who didn't, though. He wasn't too bad.

I don't know if their women do. Don't think I've ever run into a female troll before. [Though, thinking about it, there must be female trolls. Or how else would there still be trolls?]

But yeah. They tend to work for witches. Which makes killing witches really difficult. Because trolls? Are not fun to fight.
