gorehowl: (Kill you when you're old)

First

[Action]
[Garrosh appeared in the forest. An unfamiliar but lush forest. It's clearly not Ashenvale and it's not any other one he's familiar with, but there's game to be found and it's pleasant. But it is also certainly not Durotar, he's alone, with no gear or weapon and his back is pain. Still, instinct drives him: the first thing an orc needs, be it on Azeroth or in Outland, is some sort of weapon. He scouts around for a sturdy looking branch and a sharp seeming rock to fashion himself, with an hour or so's work, a primitive spear. With this supplementing his eight foot tall, muscular (and tattooed) brown form, he's better off.

...Aside from the weird partial polymorph on his back. He doesn't know magic (at least no well), so while pride dictates he'd prefer not to have these wings, with no immediate implication the black things are a detriment to him and (from when he reached to try to tug on them) the realization that they are sensitive, he's resolved to ignore him until he can force answers out of a mage.

So, the massive but quiet (he is a skilled hunter, after all) man is now skulking in the forest. Both to find something to eat, and to find answers (being as how he ignored the journal at his feet originally, oops). So if you're in the forest, particularly if you're not an orc or troll or goblin or tauren or look like any of those, expect to be hunted. It might be dangerous, but he is looking to question, not kill, at the moment. Probably.

He will, of course, probably make it to town eventually, and when he does you'll also see him going to the Smithy and then promptly back out of town with his gear in hand, following the rivers and going up to survey the mountains/more of the forest over the next few days, camping as he goes. So if you'd like to chime in there, that's possible too.]

I am Ganondorf. I owe my allegiance to no one. As for my domain, it is little more than this small stretch of land within this wretched prison. Small though it may be, I do not lightly suffer intrusion.

[But he made no move of aggression. His sword remained several feet away, still planted in the ground. Though he was keenly aware of exactly where it was, he was not anxious to claim it. Not while the stranger was stopped and for the moment, not acting in aggression.]

[He gives the brute credit for his arrogance and bluntness, but Ganondorf bristles at the threat.]

You will find its taking to be most difficult, even if it is of little use. It provides nothing more than shelter and privacy. I did not savor living among the villagers.

They are a people of excess. They spend their time in idle festivities, throwing banquets and dances so as to bide their time. They prioritize their bonds, brief as they are, over all other pursuits. They are a frivolous people.

[Ganondorf is anything but. Oh, sure, he looks regal. But everything he does is with meticulous purpose. It basically boils down to two things. He hates nearly everyone in Luceti and he wants to keep his secrets to himself.]

The Malnosso attend to all needs.

[Regardless, it didn't stop Ganondorf from eating the food provided. There was little reason not to.]

[Anger. Ye the creature is remaining calm. He is clearly not so easily driven by primal urges as the usual beasts that Ganondorf has enslaved. No, he's more intelligent than that.]

They have been stripped of hope and ambition. They have written elaborate guides so that those who follow them will be quick to do the same as well.

It is entirely accurate, without error. They may be cattle, but they are not deceitful. It is not in facts that it is wrong. Merely intent.

Do not be fooled by their appearances. Many among them are powerful. Perhaps more powerful than you. They are arrogant as well. They will not be led, because they cannot be led. In this the Malnosso are most clever. They have united many of the greatest of all worlds into this one place. They know only how to do things their own way. They cannot follow.

[Ganondorf realizes he himself being no exception. He may bend a knee for a deception, but never in earnest.]

Not yet. They have not yet been fully broken. Only then will they be an army. It remains only a question of whether they will serve the Malnosso, the cultists, or someone new.

[Someone like Ganondorf.]

This army will not be united. Not until they have been broken and built up again, more powerful than they are now. Until they, they will serve only their own purpose.

You need not worry about my will. My ambitions are much more long term. I'm a patient man.

I have begun making necessary steps. But I do not intend to tell you more than that.

I cannot change what you hear, Hellscream. May your time of naivety be brief.

[He watches the orc leave. He has no intention of turning his back until he is sure that has has left.]
