[On Garrosh's first day he learned quite a bit. Not what the people of this enclosure seemed to want him or expect him to learn, but he learned all the same. The people here were powerful, but listless. Strong, but weak in spirit. Or perhaps, their spirit was not channeled properly. It was not focused. They were warriors, but they must be from soft worlds. Worlds which has not gone through the likes of his own. The Nexus War. The Lich King. The Shattering. Azeroth was a land of conflict, and it forged its people - particularly the Horde - towards one purpose: war. Those who he had talked to here clearly feared war, and that fear prevented them from making the logical conclusions he had beginning to draw. They had told him the situation was complicated or delicate even as they had begun to rot in apathy.

He would change them.]

[Action A]
[But he couldn't do that before he knew what he had to work with. It was the dead of winter, in a climate which he was in no way used to. Still, he had survived off the land as best he could and circled around most of the barrier on the village's side of the mountains. He'd traversed some in the mountains as well, and as a result of that (plus Saleh's knife) he now sported a crudely made pouch and cloak of hides and furs. The other item he took (Silver's journal) had since been discarded near the barracks.

Because he took one of their "teleporters" (a brilliant mage's invention, more sturdy seeming than a portal, but more jarring) to the beach. In his armor and the cloak, he walks the shoreline through the cold and snow, going up onto the (stone? He approves) docks to look at the various ships there. He contemplates taking one to take to the seas, but thinks better of it. He has no crew, and it is winter. Still, he'll probably be at least contemplating boarding them if no one stops him.]

[Action B]
[Probably on a different day from his farm adventures, and pulling his cloak tight about him, Garrosh is making his way towards the farmlands. Obviously, he does not expect anything to be in season in this cold and snow, but he wants to see with his own eyes what the operation looks like.

Perhaps meet a farmer and inquire what is grown, and in what amount. Go into the barns and see the livestock. He needs to know what infrastructure already exists before he knows if his army-to-be can be fed. After all, there's no mining operations as far as he can tell, so they will need some work. He can only hope it's less than he's honestly beginning to expect.]

[Action C]
[And finally, back to the village. He has no intention of staying, but as most of the possible soldiers (he has to keep reminding himself they are indeed that, what with it being so full of humans) live here, he needs to spend some time here to know them. Know their strengths, their customs, as deplorable as they already have proved themselves to be what with the apathy inherent in this village life.

So, on this night, he makes his way into Good Spirits, again following the map, and once inside sheds his fur cloak for a hanger. He does not get out of his armor though, and did not put Gorehowl away. Let the humans see the ax and Mannoroth's tusks on his shoulders. Let them be impressed. He'll just go get a drink. He intends to socialize (that's the point of being here) but the minute he steps inside the stench of the place insults him, putting him in a foul mood. It'll be an uphill battle.]

[Run into him in any places (the docks (A), the farmland (B) or the bar (C)) as it pleases you. the timeline of this post is sort of nebulous: feel free to assume any time between now and the start of fourth wall.]

[Well damn. He sort of regrets drawing the claws now. Once blades get involved, it's not exactly a harmless brawl.]

This ain't the kind of fight you want to get into, bub. I don't want to cut off anything you'd miss.

[Which is why he retracts them. Not until he has reason to think those claws aren't going to do some serious damage to this guy.]

[Garrosh snarls shortly, but at the same time... There is a difference between war and murder. To slice this man in half, even if he's an arrogance human, would be murder. He exhales, sounding more like a growl, and puts Gorehowl back on his back. He nods]

I would not want to kill someone over their own idiocy.

[snikting]

So you ain't half reasonable after all.

[The fight ended a little too quickly. But hell if he didn't enjoy it.]

Tell you what. I'll let you keep the seat.

[gorehowl]

[Garrosh's lips curl into a smirk. He's still mad for this guy picking a fight so quickly. Even if, no, he's not going to kill this guy, he's also not about to let his slide. Instead, he thumps a fist on his chest and laughs.

Kekahahaha] You'd give it up so quickly?!

[snikting]

[Logan smirks.]

Wasn't even my seat to begin with.

[gorehowl]

Then why would you pick a fight with me?

[snikting]

I owed the bartender a bar fight.

[gorehowl]

[...Okay no, that just makes him laugh. With honest to goodness amusement.]

[snikting]

[Well, the guy has a sense of humor. He gets credit for that.]

Shame the window will fix itself later.

[gorehowl]

Yes, that is a shame. [An he glances back at it] Your name?

[snikting]

Logan. [The Wolverine, but code names are useless here.]

[gorehowl]

[And he turns back to the man] And my name is Garrosh Hellscream.

[snikting]

[He grunts in acknowledgement. That's a pretty fanciful name. That last name is about what he'd expect as a code name for a mutant.]

You sure as hell ain't from New York, even with that name. So what are ya?

[gorehowl]

An orc. [It's actually starting to get a little old to clarify that. But every time he does, it also reminds him these humans aren't Alliance. Which is probably a good thing]

[snikting]

[... orc. It doesn't quite settle in his head like 'elf' or 'dragon', but it does spring to mind fantasy wonderland sorts of things. But not in any clear sense.]

There a lot of you where you come from?

[gorehowl]

No, there are many. A proud people of the Horde! [Another thump on his chest] And I am their Warchief.

[snikting]

Well I'll tell you this much. I'd hate to run into a bunch of you guys on a bad day.

[It's a compliment. Sort of.]

[gorehowl]

Any human would be. Even an abnormal one. [Those claws man. Not to mention how un-beat-up he looks. Hell, Garrosh is probably more sore than him]

[snikting]

You orcs sound like a riot. Now if you don't mind, I think I'm gonna go get that drink. You coming?

[He'll drink with just about anyone. This guy may be ugly, but he's decent at least. If maybe a little too full of himself.]

[gorehowl]

[...He's being invited back to drink? He looks incredulous for just a moment until he grunts and nods, stomping ahead with wide steps to head towards the bar again. Intending to get there ahead of Logan]

[snikting]

[Well, Logan sure isn't going to try and squeeze past that guy through the door. If anything, the orc's desire to one up him makes Logan smirk. This is the kind of guy that might not be so bad to rile up now and then.

Not like the Hulk, who was easy to rile up, but could turn Wolverine into putty.

So he trails behind, taking his time.]

[gorehowl]

[Well then, he'll just get back in, sit back down, and order some strong ale. That was frustrating, but not as much as some other fights he's gotten into here. His honor wasn't overly insulted after all]

[snikting]

[Welp. Sitting down now and ordering a beer. Same old.]

You new 'round here?

[gorehowl]

[He exhales through his nose, but replies quick enough-] I am. [It's still longer than he'd like already, but buy their stands...] It's been twelve days.

[snikting]

So about that point when you realize this place ain't gonna be easy to break out of an' that maybe there's something to the way everyone acts around here.

[Yeah. Logan remembers reaching that point too.]

But not the point where yer willing to own up to any of that.
